In a world, constantly in motion
It’s not okay, to float like a boat in the ocean.
A change is coming, and nobody knows
Except for the ones taking the blows.
For the movers and shakers should expect;
Unmarked vans and Black Burlap.
Because a police state shows no concern
For the bloody, the bruised, and the torn.
It is our job to stand up and fight
For each of our unalienable rights.
That we all know are being taken away
Each and every day.
The freedom of speech not for the better
Has been reduced to talking about the weather.
Peaceful protest and a freedom mentality
Result in unnecessary police brutality.
And unless we stand up together
To fight for the better.
The things we stand for
Will be lost forever
