Public Prototype

Provenance Gate

A source-grounded AI review workflow that keeps candidate claims, exact citation checks, human decisions, and audit records distinct and inspectable.

Purpose

What It Addresses

A Citation Is Not Provenance

A source may be real and a quotation may be accurate while the surrounding claim still requires interpretation and accountable review.

Reviewable Claims

The prototype shows a source passage beside a candidate claim and checks whether the quoted citation appears exactly in the source material.

Visible Decisions

A reviewer must explicitly approve or reject a claim before a decision packet can be exported.

What Is Publicly Verified

Boundary

What It Does Not Claim

Provenance Gate does not determine semantic truth, replace human judgment, or provide production-grade security certification. It is a local, single-user prototype using synthetic source material and deterministic demo mode.

Its narrower purpose is to preserve an inspectable path from source material to candidate claim, citation verification, human decision, and recorded review history.
